IPM is a pest management concept that involves the use of many control practices including biological, cultural, structural, sanitation, and chemical techniques. An effective IMP program controls a pest that is causing economic loss using methods that cause the least hazard and exposure to people and pets.

Best Termite & Pest Control, Inc.'s approach is to use pesticides as a last resort effort, and select the product that poses minimal risks to people and pets. Product selection will resolve around products that pose the least amount of exposure/hazard to people and pets.

A risk/benefit analysis should be used prior to the use of any pesticide treatment. The product which poses the least amount of human exposure, yet providing adequate control of the targeted pest, will be considered.

Best Termite & Pest Control, Inc. will monitor each location with a sanitation/sightings report. This report provides the information needed to stop any problems before they start. The report shows dates of service, sanitation problems needing correction, pest sightings and their locations. This report provides best and our customers with immediate visibility of any problem areas or insects and eliminates them quickly, before they become major problems.

Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) will be left at each location, listing the type of pesticides used along with their active ingredients. This will come in handy if an employee feels they may have a problem after a particular application has been completed. It also helps us ensure all services are performed effectively, without causing discomfort to others.
